I consult for governments and private companies in Africa and emerging market countries to source low interest rate loans for investment in infrastructure, urban development, improving energy supply, health and education; among others. I therefore partner with western lenders to access financing for these scalable projects. Local bank interest rates in these countries can be as high as 16% or more. For example, I’m currently consulting for an African government who’s key priorities for the country includes: Importation of new technology, knowledge and skills into the country Provision of adequate financial services and greater inflow of foreign exchange Creation of employment opportunities as a result of the transformation projects Increase the global competitiveness of the country’s financial sector, among others I am therefore hoping to work with institutions such as yours to help facilitate loans for infrastructure development opportunities in these countries which will not only create employment opportunities and support growth but will help alleviate poverty in the country.
